Parchment Baked Salmon Recipe
Parchment baked salmon is an easy, healthy, and delicious way to enjoy a tender, flavorful meal with minimal cleanup. By sealing the salmon in parchment paper, the fish steams in its own juices, locking in moisture and enhancing the natural flavors. Seasoned with simple spices like garlic, paprika, and dill, and topped with fresh lemon slices, this recipe is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an elegant weekend meal. Plus, it's packed with protein and healthy fats, making it a nutritious choice for any occasion.
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried dill
4 lemon slices (2 per fillet)
Parchment paper
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Salmon: Lay out two pieces of parchment paper, large enough to wrap each salmon fillet. Place a fillet on each sheet of parchment paper.
Season the Salmon: Sprinkle both sides of the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dill. Rub the seasonings in gently to coat.
Add Lemon Slices: Place 2 lemon slices on top of each fillet.
Wrap in Parchment: Fold the parchment paper over the salmon, tucking in the edges to create a sealed packet. This will allow the salmon to steam as it cooks.
Bake: Place the parchment-wrapped salmon on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 8-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Serve: Carefully open the parchment packets and serve the salmon with your favorite sides.
Enjoy your tender, flavorful parchment-baked salmon!
