Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary healthcare system that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The principles of naturopathic medicine are based on holistic approaches that emphasize the body's inherent ability to heal and maintain itself. Here are some key aspects:
Holistic Approach: Naturopathic doctors (NDs) treat the whole person, considering the physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, social, and spiritual factors affecting health.
Prevention and Education: Emphasis is placed on preventive care and patient education. NDs work with patients to develop healthy lifestyle habits to prevent illness and promote optimal health.
Natural Therapies: Treatment methods may include nutritional counseling, botanical medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine, lifestyle counseling, and, when necessary, prescription medications.
Individualized Care: Each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique health needs and circumstances.
Root Cause Focus: NDs seek to identify and treat the underlying causes of illness rather than just addressing symptoms.
Naturopathic medicine is suitable for a wide range of health issues, from acute conditions to chronic illnesses. It can be used alongside conventional treatments or as a standalone approach, depending on the patient's needs.
If you have any more questions or would like to learn how naturopathic medicine can benefit you, please feel free to contact our office.

This depends on the complexity and type of follow-up you are doing. Acute homeopathic follow-ups occur 2-3 days after the initial intake, whereas a chronic homeopathic intake follow-up is typically 4-6 weeks. Overall, the follow-ups are tailored to each person and their needs.
